GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers and a former 1st round pick have reportedly agreed to a long-term extension.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Packers and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt have agreed to a new three-year contract worth $57 million that would pay out $20 million at signing.
Since the Packers selected Wyatt 28th overall out of Georgia in the first round in 2022, he has 101 total tackles (58 solo), 16.0 sacks, and 3 fumble recoveries in 57 games. He is anticipated to be ready for training camp after having surgery this offseason to place two screws into his ankle to heal a torn ankle ligament that he suffered during the 2025 season.
This deal comes as the Packers have recently extended their top two wide receivers, Christian Watson and Jayden Reed, paying more than $50 million in guaranteed money between the two to ensure quarterback Jordan Love and his top receivers remain together long-term.
