BUENA VISTA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Over a dozen fire departments are responding to a large fire near Plover on Saturday afternoon.
The call came in around 11:30 am for a report of a fully involved house and garage fire on Shady Drive in the Town of Buena Vista. There have since been reports of the fire spreading west into the trees and brush surrounding the house. The home was in a heavily wooded area; Dry conditions are a concern as the fire spread.
The cause of the fire isn’t known. The inhabitants were inside the home at the time the fire started. There are no initial reports of injuries.
The fire remains under investigation.
