NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) The Brewers fell to the Mets, 3-2, in 10 innings on Tuesday night.
The Brewers tied the game in the 9th on a Christian Yelich hit. The Brewers had a chance to take the lead until a Francisco Lindor diving catch at shortstop with the bases loaded.
Christopher Morel brought home the game-winning run on a bases loaded fielders choice in the 10th.
The Brewers lead in the NL Central remains at 5 1/2 games over the Cubs, who blew a 4-run lead and lost to the Diamondbacks last night.
The Brewers-Mets series continues at 5:35pm CT tonight on WSAU. Dustin May (6-8) will pitch for Milwaukee.
