FOND du LAC, WI (WSAU) Additional charges have been filed against Benjamin Larson after several human skulls and bones were found inside his home.
He was initially charged last month with felony stalking.
Investigators said he repeatedly changed his story about the human remains that were discovered. It’s now believed that the skulls were dug up from a Native American archaeological site,
Larson was additionally charged with three counts of receiving stolen property, felony bail jumping, and resisting an officer. His bond has been increased to $250,000.
A criminal complaint says Larson was obsessed with death and with serial killers Ed Gein and John Wayne Gacy. Some of the human remains in his home were kept in a glass coffin. Larson initially claimed that he bought the human remains from various oddity shops and that some of the skulls were found on his property in the Town of Taycheedah. A police investigation concluded that the items were illegally obtained.
