MILWAUKE, WI (WSAU) The Milwaukee Brewers were one win away from a perfect homestand. They fell to the Reds on Sunday afternoon, 4-3.
Eugenio Suarez hit a 3-run homer, and Tyler Stevenson brought home the game-winning run with an 8th-inning sacrifice fly.
The Brewers built an early 2-0 lead on Joey Ortiz’s 9th home run of the season.
The Brewers magic number to win the NL Central is down to two after a Cubs 4-3 loss to the Pirates.
The Brewers are off Monday, and send Jacob Miriorowski to the mound in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
