PITTSBURGH, PA (WSAU) The Milwaukee Brewers won the NL Central Division for a 4th straight season on Tuesday. They beat the Pirates, 5-1 and the Cubs lost to the Braves, 6-3.
Jacob Misiorowski worked five innings of shutout ball, striking out 7 for his 15th win of the season. His earned run average dropped to 1.89, the lowest in the major leagues. He allowed 5 hits on Tuesday night.
Joey Ortiz and Luis Lara each had two RBI.
The series continues Wednesday in Pittsburgh. Logan Henderson will pitch for Milwaukee at 5:05pm CT.
