EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (WSAU) The Packers 6-game losing streak, which dates back to last season, is over. The Packers rallied to beat the Jets, 20-17 in overtime.
Rookie kicker Trey Smack won the game with a 26-yard field goal. The Packers rallied from 10-points down in the 4th quarter.
The Packers (1-1) survived a sloppy, uneven performance in the rain. They were penalized 14 times and were outplayed for large parts of the game.
Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes. He was 16-of-29 for 145-yards.
The Jets won the coin toss to begin overtime, but went 3-and-out. The Packers winning drive was aided by a late hit penalty.
The Packers play their home opener on Thursday against Atlanta (0-2).
