TOWN OF NOKOMIS, WI (WSAU) — Two Marshfield residents suffered life-threatening injuries when their motorcycle was struck by a pickup in the Oneida County Town of Nokomis on Saturday.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, two motorcycles were turning onto US 51 at about 4:30 PM Saturday. One of the bikes was struck by a southbound pickup, leaving 38-year-old Michael Yeager and 37-year-old Jennifer Yeager with life-threatening injuries. They were transported from the scene and hospitalized. An update on their condition has not been provided
The pickup driver, David Larson of Fond du Lac, and the second motorcycle driver, Christopher Maples of Park Falls, were not injured.
No further information about the crash was released. The crash closed US 51 near County Road L for more than two hours.
