WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Weston man will face two separate jury trials for charges associated with an attempted homicide and a high-speed chase through the Wausau area that followed.
Jacob Lo will face a two-day trial for fleeing an officer and recklessly endangering safety on November 18th and 19th, stemming from a high-speed chase that started in Wausau, passed through Kronenwetter, and ended in Weston with Lo crashing his vehicle and attempting to flee on foot.
Officers had tried to pull him over, knowing he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a shooting incident that occurred earlier in the week outside the M and R Station. In that case, he’s accused of attempted homicide and multiple firearms-related charges. That case is scheduled for a four-day trial from December 14th-17th.

Charges against him carry repeat modifiers, with court records showing he was out on bond for a domestic abuse case in Marathon County. The court has not set trial dates for those charges, though it is scheduled to review the case alongside the other trials.
All three cases are scheduled for a final pretrial conference on October 13th. The 23-year-old faces decades in prison if found guilty on all charges.
