Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) The Badgers, playing at home as underdogs, beat USC 24-7.
Southern California transfer Bryan Jackson scored a touchdown in the first half against his former team.
It’s the second time the Badgers have beaten a ranked opponent this season. They’re now 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Big Ten
Coach Luke Fickell said that giving Jackson the chance to play against UCLA was a good decision. Jackson didn’t play last week in Wisconsin’s loss at UCLA. “The situation is pretty special,” Fickell said about the transfer’s performance. “Sometimes you’ve just got to give guys greater opportunities when the game’s on the line. He showed us something tonight that we thought maybe he had.”
The Badgers play at Iowa at noon next Saturday.
