MERRILL, WI (WSAU-WAOW) A man died after being pinned under a tractor.
In a press release sent early Tuesday morning, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded to a call of a man pinned under a tractor around 4pm Monday. The man, 46, was freed right away. They did attempt life saving measures, but weren’t able to revive him.
The Sheriff’s Office says their preliminary report shows the man was trying to help a truck that was stuck in a field. They say as he was attempting to get the truck out, the tractor turned over, pinning him underneath it.
The incident remains under investigation.
The name of the victim is being held until notification of the family.
