MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks six game winning streak came to an end on Monday night as the Detroit Pistons knocked off the Bucks 115-106 at Fiserv Forum. The Pistons also had a 13 game losing streak to the Bucks in the regular season come to an end.
Detroit, just 7-28 on the year, were also missing four players in the the game. They last beat the Bucks back in February of 2018.
Saddiq Bey led the Pistons with 34 points and Josh Jackson had 24 off the bench.
Milwaukee got double-doubles from Giannis and Bobby Portis but it wasn’t enough. Giannis had 31 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Portis finished with 12 points and 14 boards. Jrue Holiday had 29 points.
Milwaukee, now 25-14, will host Toronto on Wednesday.
The Bucks also said Donte DiVincenzo will miss a couple of weeks after rolling his ankle during warmups on Saturday.
And the team signed Luke Kornet to a 10 day contract. Kornet is a 7’2″ 26 year old and the son of former Bucks #1 pick Frank Kornet who played two seasons with Milwaukee back in 1989 and 1990.
