WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A downtown Wausau staple will be closing its doors within 10 months.
Terry Koss, co-owner of HT Cobblery on the corner of Third and Jefferson Streets, confirmed to WAOW Newsline 9 that the building has been sold to Compass Properties to be converted into an apartment building.
The shoe store opened 36 years ago. After selling off the inventory, Koss is unsure whether he’ll re-open the business in another location or retire completely.
