WAUPACA, WI (WSAU) — Despite freezing cold temperatures over the weekend, there’s still some open water in areas of Central Wisconsin.
Sheriff’s officials in Waupaca County issued a warning on Facebook this weekend about open water located between Wheelhouse and ICC under the County Highway Q bridge.
Officials say it’s a reminder to take caution when on the ice, no matter what the conditions are.
