STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP mens Basketball team lost 86-84 in overtime to Augustana of Illinois Wednesday night in Rock Island.
Nolan Ebel hit a running layup with 1.8 seconds left in the OT for the victory.
Nate Dodge led the Pointers with 40 points going 9-14 from 3-pt range. Canon O’Heron had 20.
The Pointers, now 3-1 and ranked 4th in D-3, will host UW-Superior on Saturday at 5pm.
The UWSP womens hockey team beat Marian 2-1 on Wednesday night in Fond du Lac.
Dani Heitsman and Cara Lemirande had the goals. Sydney Conley had 15 saves.
The Pointers, now 5-3-1, will host Marian next Tuesday Dec 4th.
