SENECA, WI (WSAU) — An 11-year-old boy was killed on Sunday morning in the Green Lake County Town of Seneca.
The victim was shot around 9 AM by a 41-year-old male who was attempting to unload a rifle in the back seat of a vehicle. The firearm discharged and struck the boy in the chest.
The boy was flown by helicopter to a hospital where he died. The shooter and victim were members of the same hunting party.
No other information was released.
