GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Aaron Jones is likely going to be sidelined for “Monday Night Football” against the New York Giants, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Jones is still recovering from a knee injury that he suffered against the Los Angeles Chargers on November 19. Pelissero said that Jones is “working hard to get back” but is “not ready” to play this week.
A.J. Dillion and Patrick Taylor are anticipated to get most of the carries against a Giants defense that has allowed the most 10-yard runs this season, as well as the third-most rushing yards and touchdowns to opposing running backs.
The Packers will also be without star cornerback Jaire Alexander for the fifth straight game, linebacker Quay Walker, and wide receiver Christian Watson as they recover from injuries.
