MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers may see a familiar face in the Big Ten West next season as Iowa is looking at hiring Paul Chryst as their new offensive coordinator.
According to Chad Leistikow of HawkCentral, Paul Chryst is on the “shortlist” for the Iowa Hawkeyes for their OC position after he was fired by Wisconsin after a 2-3 start last season.
Chryst, 57, spent seven years as the head coach at Wisconsin in addition to his time at Pittsburgh and recorded an 86-45 record.
Iowa averaged only 123 passing yards a game, which finished 130th in the country, along with 117 rushing yards a game, which was 109th in the country.
The Badgers are scheduled to travel to Iowa City to face the Hawkeyes on November 2nd, 2024.
