FRIENDSHIP, Wis. (WAOW-WSAU) — The Family Affair restaurant in Friendship is a total loss after a kitchen fire Sunday.
On Sunday just after 4:10 p.m. the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about the fire at the restaurant.
According to a news release, upon arrival the initial deputy on scene reported flames coming from the building. Multiple fire departments assisted the Adams County Fire District extinguish the blaze
Big Flats Fire, New Chester Fire, Quincy Fire, Rome Fire, Nekoosa Fire, Grand Rapids Fire, Necedah Fire, New Lisbon Fire, Westfield Fire, Oxford Fire, Coloma Fire, Plainfield Fire, Almond Fire, and Armenia Fire assisted in combatting the fire.
The Adams County Highway Department assisted with closing State Highway 13 and setting up detour routes.
The news release also said there were no injuries, but the restaurant is estimated to be a total loss.
The fire is not considered to be suspicious in nature.
