MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers held off the Pittsburgh Pirates in a 4-3 win on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
Sal Frelick hit a two-run homer in the 2nd inning. Brice Turang and Christian Yelich had RBIs.
Joe Ross picked up the win gicing up two runs on two hits over five innings with 6 Ks and one walk. Trevor Megill gave up a 9th inning run before nailing down his fifth save.
The Brewers, now 25-17, will play the Pirates today…pre game show at 11:35 on WSAU.
Milwaukee also placed Rhys Hoskins on the 10 day IL with a hamstring injury.
