MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers are continuing to fill out their 2025 recruiting class, and this past weekend did slow down for the program as two more key recruits committed to it.
According to Badgers247, three-star cornerback Jahmare Washington has committed to the Badgers following a recent visit to Madison. The Badgers were the first power-four program to offer Washington back in February before the three-star athlete picked up scholarships from Michigan State, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Indiana.
“I was expecting to see the foundation and what life is like as a college athlete and how it is to be a Wisconsin Badger,” Washington told Badger247. “It’s very intriguing. I loved it. The energy here is awesome.”
Washington is the Badgers’ sixth 2025 defensive back commit, following Remington Moss, Rukeem Stroud, Grant Dean, Luke Emmerich, and Jaimier Scott.
Meanwhile, the Badgers were also able to land three-star offensive tackle Nolan Davenport, who’s ranked as the 31st overall offensive tackle in the nation, over other top schools such as Penn State, Missouri, and Michigan State.
Davenport joins an already strong recruiting class that features commitments from three-star tackles Michael Roeske, and Cam Clark, and four-star tackle Logan Powell. The program will host 2025 four-star interior offensive lineman Hardy Watts for an official visit this weekend as they look to continue rebuilding their offensive line.
