Wisconsin Badgers
LINCOLN, NEB (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team got hammered by 23rd ranked Nebraska 90-60 on Wednesday night in Lincoln.
The Cornhuskers built a 16 point halftime lead and shot 54% in the second half to pull away.
Nick Boyd led the Badgers with 20 points and Nolan Winter had 10.
Wisconsin, now 7-3, 1-1 in Big Ten, is off until December 19th when they will face Villanova at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee as part of the Milwaukee Hoops Showdown.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team continued their good start to the season with a 75-46 win over San Diego Wednesday at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers scored 42 points off the bench while also creating 22 turnovers. The defense also had 12 steals in the win.
Wisconsin had four players in double figures led by Destiny Howell with 14. Shay Bollin had 11 while Gift Uchenna & Ronnie Porter added 10 each.
The Badgers, 8-3 overall and 1-0 in Big Ten, will play their final non-conference game on December 21st against IUPUI.
