STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A local brewery is hosting a free party next month.
Point Brewery has announced that they will be hosting a free outdoor block party on Saturday, June 12th. The event will run from 3 to 7 p.m. and will feature live music from Stetsin and Lace and will host various local food trucks.
The event does encourage social distancing by asking attendees to bring lawn chairs while they sample a variety of Point Beers, Hardboy Ciders, Whole Hog Brews, and the new Tea Runner Hard Iced Teas. Those who attend are also asked to wear masks at the event when applicable.
The event will also serve as a thank you to First Responders by offering free drink vouchers before the event. First Responders are encouraged to pick up a voucher for two free drink tickets along with a free 12-pack of the Tea Runner Hard Iced Tea. The vouchers are available now until June 11th for pick up.
Brewery Operating Partner Joe Martino says of the event, “We’ve been very fortunate to continue operations all through 2020. With the guidance of public health officials, we are extremely happy to offer a live event to thank the community for supporting us, and also our employees for stepping up during a challenging year,”.
