LAC du FLAMBEAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A missing man was found dead on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Lac du Flambeau Band of the Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Police Department.
Calvin Lee Wolf Senior went missing on November 18th. Authorities with the Tribal Police and Tribal Council put out a call for information on his whereabouts earlier this week.
His body was found Tuesday morning by a search dog brought in by Newbold Search and Rescue. Authorities did not specify a cause of death.
“We are devastated, but we are thankful and relieved that Calvin has been found. We would like to thank all those who helped during this past week, including everyone who searched for Calvin. We appreciate all of the help, support and prayers,” said Calvin’s mother Sheila Flores.
Flores and the rest of Wolf’s family are asking for privacy as they grieve.
