ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU) — The Village of Rothschild is looking for a new Administrator.
WSAU News has learned Gary Olsen resigned his position for a new career opportunity. His last day with the Village was May 30th.
Village Clerk Elizabeth Felkner says the Village has contracted with Public Administration Associates who will assist in the hiring process for the next Administrator.
PAA will handle details such as advertising the position, accepting applications, and conducting interviews. They will also be in constant contact with the Village Board, who will ultimately have to approve the hire. Felkner adds that they expect to have the position filled by October.
Olsen was hired in 2017 as the first Administrator in Village history, coming over from Langlade County where he worked in various financial and human resources roles.
