WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – One of the two D.C. High School students who died in a weekend vehicle accident in southeast Wisconsin will have funeral services on Friday in Weston.
On May 24, Emily Lewerenz, 18, would have received her diploma. She is referred to in her obituary as a talented writer and painter. She loved singing, acting, and snowboarding.
On Friday at noon, a funeral service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Weston. Visitation will start at the church on Thursday, May 25, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and continue on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emily Lewerenz Memorial Fund, according to her obituary.
