GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) -Packers fans hoping to catch the team’s Week 1 matchup may have to begin looking into getting their passports renewed this spring as the team may be heading abroad.
According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Green Bay Packers president, Mark Murphy stated on Tuesday that the NFL is still debating between the Packers and Cleveland Browns as the Philadelphia Eagles’ opponent in the league’s international game in Brazil for Week 1 of the 2024 season, which will be the first-ever NFL regular season game in South America.

The Eagles are one of the Packers’ eight road games in 2024, and their opponent will be chosen within the next week or two, according to Commissioner Roger Goodell.
NFL Brasil found that the Packers are one of the most popular teams in Brazil which has over 38 million American football fans, and 12.5% of those, or 4.8 million, are Packers fans.
