Polls will be open on Tuesday across Wisconsin as voters select new city, village, county, and town leaders.
Highlights from Central Wisconsin include the Mayoral elections in Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. Stevens Point voters will select a handful of new Alders and decide the fate of an operating referendum for the school district.
Alders are also up for election in Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. Residents in Kronenwetter will elect new Village Trustees.
There are also numerous school board and county supervisor races in the area.
Voting hours are 7 AM to 8 PM. If you are in line at 8 PM stay there because you will get a ballot. A photo ID is required at the polls.
To find out what’s on your ballot visit the myvote.wi.gov website and provide your name and address. That’s also where you can check your registration status and polling location.
Remember if your registration is expired you can register at the polls on election day by providing your ID and proof of address if your current address doesn’t match the one on your ID.
