MIAMI, FLA (WSAU) — A three run 8th inning lifted the Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-5 win over the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night.
Christian Yelich laced a two run triple and Willy Adames drove him in with a double. William Contreras had 2 hits and three RBIs for the Brewers.
Robert Gasser went six innings, giving up four earned runs on 10 hits. Tobias Myers picked up the win in relief. Trevor Megill notched his 7th save by striking out the side in the 9th.
The Brewers, now 28-20, will finish up their series in Miami tonight…pre game show at 5:05 on WSAU.
