NEILLSVILLE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The National Weather Service has confirmed four additional tornado touchdowns in Clark County from a line of storms that passed through the region on Tuesday, May 21st.
WAOW TV reports that two of the storms have been rated as EF-1 and two have been classified as EF-0.
Three of them touched down west of Neillsville to Unity. The fourth was straight west of Unity south of Owen. Two of them were on the ground for ten to 15 minutes and two were on the ground for less than five minutes.
Storm damage included downed trees and power lines and some damage to outbuildings and garages.
Additionally, the Village of Edgar has declared a state of emergency due to the amount of damage done by the storms.
