WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – A sex offender will be released in Wausau on Tuesday.
Christopher Galvan, 40, will have served his maximum term of incarceration. He’ll be living in transitional housing. He will be subject to monitoring through 2030, and will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Galvan will live in a halfway house on Jefferson Street. He’ll be allowed out for only for treatment and for work purposes.
He was convicted in 2023 on two charges of third-degree sexual assault, strangulation, and suffocation.
