The Milwaukee Bucks begin the regular season tonight on the road in Charlotte with high hopes. Now, we have heard that before for the last few years, but this might be the year when the team is ready to make the jump. New coach Mike Budenholzer is highly regarded and promises, if nothing else, to make watching the Bucks an entertaining treat. The offense is opening up to get away from the slow-down, isolation plays that so many times end up with Giannis going 1 on 4 while the other stand around and watch. everyone is running, the ball is moving and the three pointers are going to rain down from everywhere. The team has, in Giannis, one of the 5 best players in the league, and maybe the best player in the East now that Lebron has taken his skills to La La land. Is there enough talent around him? Maybe. And the Bucks added some guys to do the dirty work under the basket this season too. And they may have discovered a really talented piece in Christian Wood who could crack the rotation before very long. Everyone says Boston in the East. I say the Bucks will be a Top 4 team in the East and if everything falls right they could challenge for the #1 seed in the conference this season. Excitement is high as the team has sold more season tickets than ever before and the new Fiserv Forum is a player in itself to keep the excitement high. But lets face it, if the team doesnt keep the joint jumping, the shiny newness of the arena will wear off quickly.
Manny Machado is an asshole…that is all
We know Michael Caine will take any role, good or bad, so I'm not sure if this is going to be good…but I did laugh a few time during the trailer
And, Michael Myers is back this week. I'm hearing its good.
Here is a great story about a special person. If any of you know Raz, you know it to be true. Ask any of the players who played during those years.
Things to annoy you today:
The Trump administration is planning to curtail protests in DC, shutting down space in front of the White House, charging massive fees and banning stages and sound systems. Trump has even mentioned that he would like to make protesting against the law. That he doesnt know our history is a given at this point. For those of you still defending him, whats your excuse?
In the waning days of these mid term elections Scott Walker is getting desperate. He said this week he would bring back state funding of 2/3 of local school costs, weeks after his opponent said the same thing. And now he has the audacity to claim that he is on board with protecting insurance coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. Considering he is behind a lawsuit that would stop that very thing his claim is such an outraegeous lie its hard to understand how he thinks people will believe it. But then you watch a Trump rally and you realize that we are so far through ther looking glass that reality might be permanently bent.
Video yesterday of Sec State Mike Pompeo yucking it up with Prince Salman for the cameras while Trump tries to do a whitewash of the murder of a Washington Post reporter. Trump and his family are compromised by his many loans from the Saudi's so what is one man's life in the grand scheme of things? And I know there are some of you nodding in agreement with that. Pathetic.
Last year Mitch McConnell assured us that the massive tax cuts for the rich would not add to the growing deficit. We knew he was full of crap then and now that the results show what a lie it was, the reptilian Senate Majority Leader says that Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are the problems that need to be cut. Yeah, these ass-hats are shamelessly coming after our retirement funds. You know, the ones you've paid into all these years. If for no other reason than this (and there are plenty of others) the Senate must flip on Nov 6th. If not, McConnell and his minions will be free to continue their pillaging of the country and to ignore their Constitutional jobs of reigning in an out of control Executive.

“King Salman denies it. Vladimir Putin denies it. Roy Moore denies it. Brett Kavanaugh denies it. In the Presidents world, the truth doesn't matter. Admission is weakness. Denial is everything. The more vehement the better. But don't ask Trump. He denies it.”-Adam Schiff
“Trump's doctrine of economics/foreign/domestic policy: The only thing that matters is money. Do whatever it takes to get it. If it means killing children/civilians in other parts of the world, so be it. If it's incarcerating people of color so private prisons profit, so be it.”-Tulsi Gabbard
“Hello, Dustin here from Oklahoma, just wanted to pop in and let you know that most registered Native Americans only have a “fraction of native bllod” due to all the raping and genocide. K, Toodles.”-Dustin Giebel
