RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) — Sheriff’s officials in Oneida County have identified the victim of Tuesday’s homicide and are continuing to ask for the public’s help in finding the suspect.
Hannah Miller was found dead of a gunshot wound Highway 8 and River Bend Road in the Town of Pelican Tuesday morning. Officers add that she had a domestic relationship with the suspect, 30-year-old Christopher Anderson and that the couple had a child together. That child is said to be safe.
Officers are asking anyone who may have been in the area of River Bend Road and Highway 8 between 10:30 and 11 AM Tuesday to call them. Additionally, anyone in the area who has surveillance cameras is asked to check them and turn the footage over to authorities if they think it will help the investigation.
Anderson has been known to go by DJ Bravo or Bravo. Initially, officers said he was thought to be in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Minnesota license plate 187 NXC. However, there has also been word that he could be associated with a Mitshubishi Outlander Sport that has Wisconsin plates AJR 9672.
Released photos of Anderson show him with long hair, though officers suspect he may have cut it short.
Anyone who sees Anderson or the two vehicles associated with the investigation is asked to not approach him. Instead, you are asked to call 911 or the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office at 715-361-5201.
Officers continue to emphasize that the situation remains fluid and further details will be released when it is appropriate to do so.
