MADISON, WI (WSAU) – A large winning lottery ticket has been sold in Wisconsin Rapids for the third time in the last 30 days. The ticket was worth $50,000 and was purchased for the drawing on Monday, April 3rd.
Wisconsin Rapids has earned the nickname “Paper City” following the sale of two other large lottery tickets in the city, including a $350,000 SuperCash ticket on March 28th.
The most recent winning ticket was purchased at the Kwik Trip on 1111 Lincoln St, and it included the numbers (16-30-31-54-68) as well as the Powerball (1).
The owner of the winning ticket now has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
